Jack Diamond, a longtime resident of Philadelphia, Pottstown, Penn., Lake Worth, Fla. and suburban Atlanta passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 14, 2010 at age 82.
After attending Penn State and earning a Masters degree from NYU in Retailing, he opened and ran Jack Diamond Shoes in Pottstown for almost 30 years. He loved to play the violin, was a member of the Pottstown Symphony Orchestra and served on its board.
A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Naomi Bernstein of Alpharetta; his son, Mitchell B. Diamond of Atlanta; his stepson, Philip B. Auerbach of San Francisco; two grandsons, Matt and Noah; and his granddaughter, Aria.
